Jarius Hicklen led the Bison to their first home victory of the year vs the #1 team in the GAC conference, Southeastern Oklahoma. It was clear that South Eastern‘s game plan was to stop Hicklen at all cost. The sophomore guard took a few minutes to get heated up while he figured out their game plan. The savage storm threw their best defenders at him and added some zone coverage in the contest. Ultimately once Hicklen warmed up it was go time! Hicklen went on to finish the game with 20 points; shooting 8 of 17, 47% from the field and 38% from three-point range.

While his offensive performance was special he is an all-around player that impacts the game on both ends of the floor. He led the Bison with 2 steals and added 3 defensive rebounds on the night. Jarius is excited to get into conference play and lead his team back to the GAC Conference Championship tournament.
