Tonight was one for the record books! Hicklen continues to solidify himself as a bonifde scorer in collegiate basketball. Tonight against the Kentucky wild cats he added another 4 three pointers; surpassing 100 3-pointers in just 35 games played at the university of North Florida, a UNF record.

Hicklen scored a team high 17 points while shooting 50% from the field and 4-8 from long range. He did this following an amazing performance in Pittsburgh on Monday night in which he posted an efficient 24 points, 7-13 from the field and 50% from long range.

As a dominate ball hander and playmaker Hicklen's silky smooth pace truly controls the flow of the game with the best of college basketball. "I love to get my guys involved, when I'm cooking we all eat" stated Hicklen.

Jarius is an all around player who exceeds just as much on the court as he does off the court, in the classroom. The Oklahoma Baptist Graduate matriculated to North Florida after earning his second degree, a Bachelor’s of Sports Management in just two years at Oklahoma Baptist. (Hicklen graduated with his associates in 2019 through an advanced education track in high school).

The Dallasite is looking to help his team win and accomplish more than he did last season when he was named ASUN Newcomer of the Week and ASUN Player of the Week. He also earned the ASUN Honor Roll and NABC Honors Court.

We are excited about Jarius's play this season and we are looking forward to the next few games as he and the Osprey's push through the non-conference schedule.
