Full Circle Moment

Jarius Hicklen introduced himself to the Pokes fan base by displaying his full skillset against one of his alma mater's, Oklahoma Baptist (OBU). Hicklen whom was first-team All-GAC, helped lead the Bison to a Great American Conference title and a Top 25 National Ranking in the NCAA DII Coaches Poll while averaging averaging 17.1 ppg, 4.2 rpg and 1.9 apg his last season there. He graduated in 2021 with a Bachelor’s in Sports Management.

We asked Jarius about how he felt after the game and he stated, "I'm blessed; its where my collegiate career began, to come full circle and have an opportunity to play OBU is another great chapter in my journey"

Hicklen leveled up to University of North Florida after his stint at OBU where he continued to excel on and off the court, ASUN Honor Roll, Player of the Week, posted 40 double-digit scoring efforts, and was sizzling hot from beyond the arc, shooting 38%. He recently graduated in 2023 with a Master’s of Management.

Hicklen is consistent, he's accurate, he's a fundamentally sound player. In his collegiate career has amassed over 1,300 pts, 250 three's, 320 reb, 225 assist. He looks to add to what has already been an outstanding career at Oklahoma State this season.
