Jarius Hicklen announced that he will be graduating with honors and has entered the portal to purse a master's degree and to play the game he loves at another level. He will have 3 years of NCAA eligibility left to be the best student-athlete he can be!

Hicklen has had a great start to his collegiate career and its just getting started! In 2 years he has completed 68 college credit hours, to go with the associates degree he received from Cedar Valley College in 2019. This gives him enough credit hours (128) to graduate this coming May with the class of 2021. Jarius has excelled in the class room, earning Dean's Honor Roll 3 times in the 4 semesters he has been on campus! He truly represents the term student-athlete.

On the court, the 6'3 sophomore guard significantly increased his production averaging 17.3 points per game while shooting 46% from the field and 42% from three-point range. Hicklen showed that he is comfortable guarding the best player on the opposing team and that he can rebound with the best of guards; he averaged 4 rebounds per contest.
